Winter so far has been full of some very exciting announcements and The Wiz couldn't be happier to share it with all y'all. Anticipating our fourth full-length album released, Livin' Oblivion (Listenable Records), we just announced our release show at The Rickshaw Theater in Vancouver BC on February 16, 2018!!! With an impressive lineup behind us: Mean Jeans (Portland OR), local buds in WAINGRO and Killer Deal, the night should be a great li'l time. We are beyond stoked to play the new tunes for everyone and kick off this album and a new year in the best way we know how - live and with a party. FEBRUARY 2018 WEEEOOO!!!! The album artwork for Livin' Oblivion was done by the amazing Eliran Kantor (Berlin, Germany). His work is astounding and includes many collaborations with other bands in the heavy scene (Crowbar, Testament). Check. It. Out.
OH WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!! Wiz is beyond stoked to present Black Wizard's first official music video "Feast or Famine", featured on upcoming Livin' Oblivion. Decibel Magazine was kind enough to debut the video early this week and so far the internet has been kind to us. Filmed and edited by Rob Zawistowski, him and our man Daniel Stokes produced a sassy little collaboration together. Filmed at The Wise Hall in Vancouver, BC with the gracious help of Milton Stille the video is the first of many more audio visual to come. Wiz definitely appreciates the YouTube comment love: "This is the last level when you beat Jesus in guitar hero..."
